SQream, a leader in GPU-accelerated big data processing, is announcing this week that it has appointed Liam Galin as its new CEO.

According to a statement from the company, Liam “will spearhead SQream 2.0’s era, positioning the company as the ultimate AI Factory – where enterprises transform massive data volumes into AI-driven foresight at unprecedented scale and speed.”

The tech executive is one of Israel’s most prominent professional CEOs, and earlier led BriefCam, acquired by Milestone; was Chairman and CEO of Flash Networks, acquired by Volaris Group; and was CEO of Whatify.ai and RiT Technologies (NASDAQ: RITT).

He is a graduate of Tel Aviv University with an undergraduate and Masters degree in electrical engineering.

Said Liam, “I’m honored to join SQream at such a transformative moment. As an AI Factory enabler, we are uniquely positioned to meet the surging demand for AI-ready infrastructure by empowering enterprises to extract meaningful foresight from their massive data.”

“This is a pivotal point in time defined by three tectonic market shifts: GPUs taking center stage, AI booming, and big data reaching unprecedented scale, creating an unprecedented opportunity for SQream to lead the charge,” added the executive.

According a recent report, over the next three years 92% of companies plan to increase their AI investments.

Furthermore, the big data market expected to reach $638 billion by 2028.

SQream’s earlier CEO, Ami Gal, who also co-founded the company, will remain at SQream where he will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Ittai Bareket, previously Chief Alliance Officer, has been promoted to Chief Business Officer, where he plans to advance the company’s new partner revenue model.
