San Diego-based HouseCall has raised $1.5 million from Canter Capital, with participation from KGC Capital. The startup offers a mobile app that allows users to find and book home services from local providers. The founders, CEO Ian Heidt, Reza Olfat, Adam Perry-Pelletier, Roland Ligtenberg, and Chris Zwickilton, previously founded Qualcomm Labs—an incubator focused on new wireless product development. HouseCall was founded in late 2013, and previously raised $1.5 million from e.ventures.
