This week, Italian entrepreneurs Massimiliano Delsante and Stefano Pedrazzi are announcing their debut in the U.S. market by launching a Kickstarter campaign for their new AI-powered kitchen robot, Liffo.
Their startup, Robomagister, debuted the cutting edge home robot at CES Las Vegas earlier this year and after raising almost $12 million in funding in Italy.
Now, the company is taking its next step through a Kickstarter campaign, inviting Americans to be among the first to bring the innovation into their kitchens.
According to a press release shared with StartupBeat, Liffo is the first fully autonomous AI-powered cooking robot that prepares meals without supervision.
Designed to fit seamlessly into modern kitchens, Liffo automates the entire cooking process, preparing Michelin-star-curated recipes. It can recognize ingredients and learn new dishes, all through cooking scheduling via its dedicated app, which can be controlled directly from a distance on any smartphone.
Their YouTube channel has a ton of demonstration videos, which although currently all in Italian, do a good job of showing users how Liffo operates.

Harking back to the company’s Italian roots, Liffo includes time-tested traditional recipes, adapted to the user’s tastes. The robot comes with an expert-curated menu of Italian classics, plus vegetarian and vegan recipes.
