Rarely does a day go by where AI isn’t a topic of conversation in the boardroom, the subject of a news headline, or discussed between peers.

Yet even so, the jury is still out on what an “AI-first future” will look like for certain. For business leaders, now is the time to get ahead of the changes and prepare to get the most out of AI.

Prezent, a global enterprise-grade AI platform, has launched a new AI communication conference, Articulate, to further the conversation on how AI can benefit a range of business-related tasks and processes.

Tony Colon, SVP of Customer Excellence at ServiceNow, will deliver the opening keynote while industry leaders such as Janet Dorling from Gilead Sciences will lead discussions on AI and the future of work at the conference coming up in San Francisco this September.

The future of work with AI

We know that AI excels when it comes to numerical or data-heavy tasks like analytics and automation. However, tasks of a more qualitative nature require closer attention.

Although AI has clearly demonstrated it has the capabilities needed to draft emails and reports, it’s common to hear that work just “feels AI-generated” or includes errors. For the business community, this represents a major hurdle to making AI useful for corporate applications.

“When it comes down to business communication, the question of whether or not to leverage AI is pretty much null in 2024. A 2022 survey from MIT found CIOs’ ambitions limited.” Rajat Mishra, CEO of Prezent and speaker at the Articulate conference, noted while in conversation with Fast Company.

Although 94% of organizations surveyed by MIT were using AI in some way, only 14% aimed for enterprise-wide use by 2025, the CEO noted.

To explore how to drive up these adoption rates, Rajat Mishra and the team at Prezent have spearheaded efforts to launch the Articulate Conference 2025

Set to take place in San Francisco on September 25th at the St. Regis Hotel, the conference has two core themes: “What skills will matter in an AI-first future” and “How can enterprises realize ROI from AI.”

Experts drive AI narrative forward

Since AI exploded onto the scene, business leaders have been catching up in real-time, exploring how the technology actually performs in business scenarios as pilot tests and case studies.

This makes community insights into risks and rewards so important. Here, Prezent is championing insights from leaders and experts who have direct experience in using AI as a business communication tool so that attendees can gain from their experiences.

As mentioned, Tony Colon from Service Now will deliver the keynote address. As a company, Service Now is currently on an incredible growth trajectory after embracing Agentic AI.

The company is expected to break the $10 billion USD ARR barrier for the first time in 2025 after maintaining revenue growth of over 20% year-over-year (YoY) and is planning to hire 3,000 new employees in a significant expansion.

Heading up customer success for the company, Tony brings years of experience in scaling customer success for leading enterprises. At Articulate, he will explore how customer success and professional services can accelerate value creation and the role AI will play.

When it comes to AI and the future of work, Janet Dorling, Senior Vice President, Intercontinental Region and Gilead Patient Solutions at Gilead Sciences, is set to join a panel to explore how communication can bridge the gap in a fireside chat moderated by Prezent CEO Rajat Mishra.

The ever-expanding roster of speakers already features leaders from across industries, including:

  • Lamees Hamada, Executive Director of Product Marketing, Amgen
  • Anupam Rastogi, Partner, Emergent Ventures
  • Don Arnette, Medical Affairs Director and Disease Area Lead, AbbVie
  • Mandy Ransdell, Director of Field Strategy & Operations, Novartis

  • and more

Storytelling and value from AI

The conference will also explore the skills that executives need to hone in an AI-first future, along with creative solutions on how to leverage AI to support business growth.

Lessons Learned in Getting Real ROI from AI will bring together seasoned executives who have led successful large-scale AI initiatives inside well-recognized industry-leading tech companies.

Other sessions include The AI-First Leader: Building Influence and Driving Change, How technical and analytics teams tell great data stories with AI, and Crafting Narratives That Inspire Action.

The event culminates with a closing reception offering a key chance for networking.
